Born and raised in Manhattan, Dr. Paul Jarrod Frank is Founder and Chief Medical Officer of PFRANKMD™ Skin Salon, PFRANKMD™ Therapeutic Skincare, and the PFRANKMD™ brand. Having cultivated a sophisticated clientele over the past two decades, Dr. Frank has become renowned for his expertise in minimally invasive cosmetic rejuvenation. Throughout his career, Dr. Frank has lectured extensively and authored several articles pertaining to cosmetic surgery in both the professional and consumer literature. He is regularly featured in local and international media outlets as a skin care and anti-aging expert. Published by Random House in 2002, TURNING BACK THE CLOCK WITHOUT LOSING TIME: A Complete Guide to Quick and Easy Cosmetic Rejuvenation, has become the doctor’s first “bible” for the consumer.
Academically, Dr. Frank continues his ongoing research and consulting in Cosmetic Dermatology. Amongst his achievements, he was an original injector for the FDA trials of Restylane® in 2001, acted as the Global Dermatologist for Good Skin Labs and was technology expert for product development for Lab Series, Skincare for Men – both spanning a five year period with the Estée Lauder Companies. Most recently, Dr. Frank is the Global Dermatologist in brand development for Madonna and MTG, Japan’s largest wellness and technology company. Developed and marketed originally in Japan, MDNA Skin, with Dr. Frank’s help, is planning global expansion throughout Asia, Europe, North and South America. As a member of the product development team, Dr. Frank will bring the services of the MDNA Skin line to spa treatments developed specifically for his medspa brand PFRANKMD™ Skin Salon.
Dr. Frank is a BOARD CERTIFIED Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, and a fellow of both the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. He trained in Internal Medicine at New York’s Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and completed his Dermatology residency at NYU Langone Medical Center. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
